About the position

As an economist at Coforma, you will have a broad and developing role where you are responsible for both ongoing financial work and more analytical tasks. Your main daily tasks will consist of registering and paying supplier invoices for primarily three companies (but also more if needed), sending customer invoices, and booking incoming payments. You will also be involved in the year-end closing work and handle the reconciliation of selected accounts.

In addition to these ongoing tasks, you will gradually take on greater responsibility within the group, which encompasses a total of 20 companies. This may involve making manual bookings to reconcile accounts at year-end, approving payroll payments, and administering tax accounts.

For those interested in deepening their knowledge further, there will eventually be opportunities to contribute to the development of forecasts, administer project registers, handle VAT returns to the Tax Agency, and, if you wish, develop your skills in annual reports and income tax returns.

The work primarily takes place in Visma Net and Excel, and you will receive practical onboarding where you learn the tasks step by step alongside your immediate supervisor. Here, you will have the opportunity to grow into the role, receive support when needed, and simultaneously challenge yourself as you become more confident in your tasks.

Examples of tasks:

• Register supplier invoices primarily in 3 companies. Registration may also occur in the other 11 companies.
• Pay supplier invoices (handled via Autopay) in three companies and manual payment in other companies.
• Send customer invoices and book incoming payments of customer invoices and other payments.
• Participate in year-end closing work and handle the reconciliation of certain accounts.

We are looking for you who

• Are studying your final year at university (preferably in economics, e.g., the School of Business or equivalent)
• Have gained some work experience alongside your studies, through a part-time job/internship
• Want to work extra alongside your studies and take on greater responsibility full-time after graduation
• Have a numerical sense, are analytical, and can understand financial relationships

About the employment

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed as a consultant at OIO and work part-time. Provided that the collaboration works well, there is a very good opportunity to transition to a full-time position at Coforma.

Additional information

• Scope: Part-time (8–20 hours per week) starting immediately and lasting until May/June. After that, there will be a planned break while a colleague is on parental leave. After the break, there is the possibility to resume the role full-time. The working hours during the part-time period are flexible and will be adjusted according to your studies.
